Tahawor by Naharnet

With the start of the National Dialogue on September 16, 2008, Naharnet is launching this website to encourage a transparent dialogue between the various Lebanese factions and try to close the wide gap in the opposing views regarding the various issues of national interest. It is intended to be an open debate with no hidden agendas or intentions, where the parties clearly state their cases and make their arguments without demagoguery or electoral positioning. It also gives an opportunity to the public to actively engage in the debate about such crucial issues directly with the representatives of the various parties. The public should know what is being discussed behind the scenes and the participants must know what the people in the street want to say.

تواكب "نهارنت" الدعوة التي وجهها رئيس الجمهورية ميشال سليمان الى الموقعين على اتفاق الدوحة من أجل استئناف الحوار الوطني اعتبارا من الثلثاء في 16 أيلول 2008، بحوار بين مجموعة من الأحزاب والتيارات السياسية اللبنانية عبر موقع خاص يطرح المواضيع والملفات الخلافية على بساط البحث والنقاش لتكون وجهات النظر كافة في تصرف الرأي العام اللبناني الذي من حقه معرفة ما يدور باسمه وما يخطط لمستقبله. إن "التحاور" الذي سيتولاه عبر "نهارنت" ممثلون عن الفرقاء المشاركين بالحوار مهمته إشراك اللبنانيين والمهتمين بالحوار بين اللبنانيين في جانب من النقاشات، فيتمكن الرأي العام من معرفة ما يدور في الكواليس، ويطلع المتحاورون على ما يفكر به الناس في مصانعهم ومكاتبهم ومنازلهم...
