It seems we all forgot the 2 years boycott of the cabinet from the opposition ministers and the parliament boycott fromt he opposition deputies. Will this be repeated in future conflicts , no matter who the majority or minority are ? Shouldn't be a crucial issue to be raised to avoid it , and change the constitution if needed ?

Since 2005, Lebanon's government has stalled significantly causing a state of haemorrhage. There are many issues that need to be adressed to deal with to help Lebanon overcome the large array of problems it is currently facing. But right now, Lebanon needs to make the people feel safe by creating a defense strategy that is built on solid foundations. We need one army for one country. This is true of any great nation. If a solid defense strategy can be established and implemented, Lebanon immediately will begin to reap short-term and long-term benefits in the areas of tourism, investment, trade and employment just to name a few. However, all parties to need step up and find a solution. Lebanon needs a bi-partisan approach if it wishes to become the great nation it deserves to be.
