The President as the supreme commander of the state should be the arbiter of the dialogue or shaper of opinions?

What do you think of the role of the President in the dialogue? Is he just managing the dialogue? Is he a side? Arbitrator? Or is he being steered? Do you believe chairing the dialogue would allow him to put forth a viewpoint even if it contradicts the opinion of any of the participants?

ما هي نظرتكم الى دور رئيس الجمهورية في الحوار؟ هل هو مجرد مدير للحوار؟ أم طرف؟ أم حكم؟ أم موجه؟ وهل تعتبرون أن رئاسته لطاولة الحوار تسمح له بطرح وجهة نظر محددة حتى ولو كانت مناقضة لرأي أحد المشاركين؟

كل واحد منكم رئيس على فئة حزبية أو طائفية أما هو فرئيس الجمهورية

يجب ان يكون لرئيس الجمهورية الدور الابرز في الحوار فهو المحاور وهو الطرف اللذي يمثّل كل البنانيين وهو الموّجه وهو الرجل الاول في الدولة اللبنانيةوأنا بصفتي شاب لبناني مستقل لا أجد لي ممثلاً في زحمة الممثلين الجالسين على طاولة الحوار سوى رئيس الجمهورية الذي نعقد عليه كثيراً من الامال على أمل أن يكون على مستوى آمالنا وتطلعاتنا في حين خذلنا الجميع
